Our Story

Katie's entrepreneurial vision of expanding their business with complementary merchandise corresponds perfectly with their commitment to excellence. 

Meanwhile, Miguel occasionally loses words (in English and Spanish) leading to him improvising sounds when words escape him. Katie has a remarkable ability to decipher these guttural sounds and translate them into comprehensible dialogue, resulting in hilarious conversations. Their unique form of communication birthed the term "chuucka" – a perfect example of their synchronized communication. Inspired by the distinctive sound of a metal ice cream scoop gliding through frozen treats, this playful new term emerged from a lost word translated into sound, then transformed into an understandable conversation.

This playfulness emerges in the Chuucka Shop, where practical meets fun and Miguelisms are nestled in unique Embrace memorabilia.

Categories are defined by gender: Female / Male, Wetsuits and “naked” (non wetsuits) and age. Age groups are defined as 8-9, 10-11, 12-15, 16-19 and 10 years age groups after that; ie. 20-29, 30-39 etc.
